The major composition of sintered NdFeB magnets is Nd2Fe14B, which is developed in the year of 1983. Sintered NdFeB magnets are regarded of having highest magnetic properties among all other permanent magnets since now. Their BHmax is 3 to 10 times higher than sintered ferrite magnets, Hcj is 5 to 10 times higher than ferrite and 5 to 15 times higher than Alnico magnets. The potential magnetic properties of Sintered NdFeB magnets are very high. Theoretically, their BHmax value can be as high as 66MGOe. They can even attract the object which weight is 640 times higher than themselves.
Since the majority raw material Fe is very cheap, the capacity of another major raw metial Nd is 10 to 16 times higher than Sm on earth. Concequently, the price of NdFeB magnets is much lower than SmCo magnets.
The mechanical properties of NdFeB magnets is better than SmCo magnets and AlNiCo magnets, they can be cutted and drilled easily.
The temperature propertis of NdFeB magnets are lower comparing with other magnets, the max. working temperature is normally 80 degree. However, we developed our technics and can make the max. working temperature to be as high as 200 degree.
NdFeB magnets are very easy to get rusted, so they must be protected by special coating,such as Nickel,Zinc,Au, or Epoxy.
The majoy application of NdFeB magnets are motor, speakers, toys and magnetic systems.
